Low Carbs Protein Pancakes topped with Honey

Quick and easy protein pancake recipeHere’s a breakfast recipe that we enjoy quite often. Everybody loves pancakes, especially knowing that they are healthy.
This is what you’ll need:

  • 2 whole eggs
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 cup of oat meal
  • 1 table spoon milk
  • 1/2 tea spoon salt
  • 1 tea spoon sugar.

Preparation:

Crack two whole eggs and two egg whites in a blender. Put the oat meal and one or two table spoons of milk. Add the salt and sugar and blend it well for few seconds. Preheat a pan and spray it with oil if necessary. If your pan is with a non-stick surface than you can skip the oil step. Poor the blended mix and cook few minutes on one side and few minutes on the other. Depending on your taste, you can keep it on the pan for as long as you want. Place it on a plate and poor some honey on top of it…voila – a very quick and healthy pancake.

Variation:

In the blending mix you can add as scoop of Protein. If you decide to do that, you don’t have to put sugar. You’ll have to flip it often since it could burn easy because of the protein powder.
